On the Road Again..

We spent almost 2 months in Michigan enjoying the girls and their families and now we are on the road again heading for Colorado for our next Sower project... We are the leaders so we have to be there on Thursday and begin the work on Monday... we have 12 couples to lead.. HELP!!!! We plan to sleep at a Wal Mart outside of Chicago and then drive thought it around midnight.. lots less traffic... then take 80 across Iowa and Nebraska .... Hope to get some good pictures tomorrow to post. Tim had knee surgery a week ago Friday and he has LOTS of pain and flat on his back most of Heman's Camp... so I am glad he is now able to drive this 40' plus RV and car across the USA.... Our granddaughter Andrea is doing GREAT and GOD is to be praised!!!! She now weighs 5#3oz. and looks good.. not sure when she will be going home.... Keep praying for both Kari and Andrea.. Thanks!!!

Heman's Camp

This was the 60th Anniversary of Heman's Camp so there were a lot of special activities all week long... One was to buy and wear matching t- shirts... This is our gang.... Tim and I, Kristy and her 2 daughters Jessie and Elizabeth and Bekie ( Kari's girl )... We had a great week at camp,....

They had a contest to decorate your car, cabin, RV, etc and we made a big cake out of cardboard boxes and wrote on the motor home windows and hung balloons and crepe paper.. We won!!!! for portraying the theme... We head out after church tomorrow for Colorado Springs....

No pictures this time.. just a short blog to say we flew back to Michigan today and after filling up with groceries, we went to Heman's ( located near marlette ) our Free Methodist church camp where Tim plans to work for 2 days painting the tabernacle. On Thursday he has blood work and on Friday he has knee surgery before camp begins on Sunday.... expecting only 3 of our grand daughter at camp this year.. most years we have 6 or 7... guess we are getting OLD!!!!Good to be back in the m.h. but sure miss the POOL and the HOT weather!!!

Today we spent the day at the beach in Venice finding shark teeth and enjoying the waves...The Gulf was gorgeous and warm....

After, we took my aunt Mary to lunch at The Dutch Heritage ( an Amish restaurant )... uuummm!!! She has lost a lot of weight since my uncle died last year so it was good to see her eat and enjoy it....She lives in Venice....

Flying to Florida

We left Metro on the 1st of June and flew into Ft. Lauderdale for a 2 weeks in Florida to check on the house and take our 12 year old grand daughter Elizabeth on a vacation...
