On Friday we spent a few hours walking in downtown Rapid City looking at the statues of the Presidents... They stand on the corners and so far there are about 32 of the 44. They started in 2000 and plan to add 4 each year... This was a vehicle that passed by as we were walking.. They plan to make it across America in 2009.... They were happy to wave at us as they rode along..

We didn't see this part of Rapid City, thanks for sharing.
I didn't know President Monroe was so tall. We HOPE (notice the emphasis) to get down your way sometime in the winter of 2010-11. That is a long time in the future but plans are fun make.
