Tim and I now live in our new home in Cape Coral, Florida.. We really enjoy it...We still plan to go out 'on the road 'occasionally and do a volunteer project working with Sowers. We have 4 lovely children and 4 beautiful in-laws.We have 20 precious grandchildren. All of our children are serving The Lord.We are BLESSED!! GOD is Good!!!
The road in the park, were really something!!! They would switch back and a lot of time the speed zone would be 15mph...
There were piles of tree and brush to eliminate the fires.... They burn them later in the winter...
A lot of you have probably seen Mt. Rushmore.. You could see it from a distance from Custer State Park..
The view was really beautiful.

You've put a lot of pictures on since I checked your blog. Thanks for sharing. It sure is beautiful over there. We got to see Rushmore but not Custer St. park. Our time ran out, so it was good to see some of what we missed. Did you see the beginnings of Crazy Horse carving yet. ??
Love the pictures! Looks like you guys are enjoying yourselves. I have never been to Mt. Rushmore, but it is on my list of places to visit. Maybe one day!
Brenna and I loved looking at your pictures! I've always wanted to go to see Mount Rushmore! Why is there part of the Berlin Wall in Rapid City? It looks like you are having a great time and enjoying the country! Happy Travelling! Kami
Custer State Park is a state park and wildlife reserve in the Black Hills of southwestern South Dakota, USA. The park is South Dakota's largest and first state park, named after Lt. Colonel George Armstrong Custer
