Custer State Park

The road in the park, were really something!!! They would switch back and a lot of time the speed zone would be 15mph...
There were piles of tree and brush to eliminate the fires.... They burn them later in the winter...

A lot of you have probably seen Mt. Rushmore.. You could see it from a distance from Custer State Park..

The view was really beautiful.

You've put a lot of pictures on since I checked your blog. Thanks for sharing. It sure is beautiful over there. We got to see Rushmore but not Custer St. park. Our time ran out, so it was good to see some of what we missed. Did you see the beginnings of Crazy Horse carving yet. ??

Brenna and I loved looking at your pictures! I've always wanted to go to see Mount Rushmore! Why is there part of the Berlin Wall in Rapid City?
It looks like you are having a great time and enjoying the country!
Happy Travelling!
